I provide specialist online confidence coaching for adults in London who want to stop people-pleasing, set healthier boundaries and feel more confident expressing what they genuinely think, feel and need.
My approach combines psychological insight with practical coaching strategies. We won’t simply talk about confidence in the abstract. We will identify the beliefs and behaviours undermining your confidence and practise responding differently in the situations that matter.
All sessions are delivered online, allowing you to access personalised support from your home or office without adding another journey across London to your schedule.

Online Confidence Coaching in London
Confidence is not about becoming louder, more dominant or pretending that you never experience self-doubt. It is about trusting yourself enough to make decisions, communicate honestly and remain connected to your own needs—even when somebody else might disagree.
Many of the people I work with are intelligent, capable and highly self-aware. They may be successful professionally and appear confident to everyone around them, but internally they:
- replay conversations and question what they said;
- worry excessively about how they are perceived;
- struggle to say no without feeling guilty;
- avoid disagreement and difficult conversations;
- over-explain their choices;
- seek reassurance before making decisions;
- feel responsible for other people’s emotions;
- adapt themselves to gain approval or avoid rejection.
Online coaching gives us a structured and confidential space to understand these patterns and work towards meaningful behavioural change.

Is People-Pleasing Affecting Your Confidence?
People-pleasing can look like kindness, flexibility and consideration. The difference is that genuine kindness involves choice, while people-pleasing is often driven by fear.
You might say yes because saying no feels selfish. You might stay silent because disagreement feels dangerous. You may constantly monitor other people’s moods and change your behaviour to prevent disappointment, criticism or conflict.
Over time, this can weaken your confidence because you repeatedly receive the message that other people’s preferences are more important than your own.
Your confidence may be affected if you regularly:
- agree to things you don’t want to do;
- feel anxious after setting a boundary;
- apologise when you haven’t done anything wrong;
- change your opinion depending on who you are with;
- tolerate one-sided or emotionally draining relationships;
- avoid asking directly for what you need;
- feel guilty when you rest or prioritise yourself;
- depend on external validation to feel secure;
- appear confident while privately feeling inadequate;
- become resentful after repeatedly putting yourself last.
These patterns are not evidence that you are weak. They are often strategies that developed because being helpful, agreeable or emotionally accommodating once felt safer.
You can read more about recognising and changing these patterns in my guide on how to stop being a people-pleaser.
How Confidence Coaching Can Help
Confidence coaching helps you move from understanding your patterns to actively changing them.
Together, we examine the beliefs and internal rules influencing how you respond to other people. These might include:
- “I need everyone to like me.”
- “I must not disappoint anyone.”
- “If someone is upset with me, I have done something wrong.”
- “My needs are less important.”
- “I need to explain myself so people don’t judge me.”
- “I must be certain before I make a decision.”
- “Saying no makes me selfish.”
We then explore how these rules affect your decisions, relationships, communication and emotional wellbeing.
The goal is not to replace them with forced positive thinking. It is to develop more flexible beliefs and test new ways of responding in real situations.
This might involve expressing a different opinion, setting a boundary without giving a long explanation, making a decision without seeking reassurance or allowing somebody to feel disappointed without immediately trying to fix their reaction.
Confidence grows through experience. Each time you act in a way that respects your needs and values, you create evidence that you can trust yourself.
What We Work on Together
Your coaching will be adapted to your circumstances, goals and existing strengths. Areas we may work on include:
Understanding your patterns
We identify where your confidence becomes vulnerable and what tends to trigger people-pleasing, self-doubt or overthinking.
Challenging limiting beliefs
We explore the assumptions you have learned about approval, worth, rejection, conflict and responsibility.
Setting boundaries without excessive guilt
You learn to recognise your limits, communicate them clearly and tolerate the discomfort that can follow.
Developing assertive communication
We work on expressing your needs, opinions and preferences honestly while remaining respectful of other people.
Reducing overthinking
You develop practical strategies to interrupt rumination, stop repeatedly reviewing conversations and make decisions with greater clarity.
Building self-trust
Instead of automatically outsourcing decisions to other people, you learn to recognise and rely on your own judgement.
Navigating disagreement and disapproval
We work on separating another person’s reaction from your worth and learning that disagreement does not automatically mean rejection.
Creating healthier relationships
You begin to notice where you are over-functioning, self-abandoning or accepting one-sided dynamics—and practise showing up more authentically.
Applying change in everyday life
Between sessions, we may agree on practical experiments so you can test new behaviours at work, in relationships and in daily decisions.
Why Choose Online Coaching?
Online confidence coaching offers the same focused one-to-one conversation without the time, cost and pressure of travelling to appointments.
For clients living or working in London, online sessions can be particularly practical. You can attend from a private space without managing transport delays, commuting across the city or losing additional time from your working day.
Online coaching may suit you if:
- you have a demanding professional or personal schedule;
- travelling to appointments would make consistent attendance difficult;
- you feel more comfortable speaking from a familiar environment;
- you want to work with a specialist rather than choosing solely by proximity;
- you travel regularly or divide your time between locations;
- you value the flexibility and privacy of remote sessions.
Sessions are delivered through secure video calls. We can discuss insights, review exercises and plan behavioural experiments in the same structured way we would when working in person.

Fees and Packages
I offer three ways of working:
Pay as you go
£200 per session
This provides the greatest flexibility, with no commitment to a set number of sessions.
10-session package
£1,500 — equivalent to £150 per session
This can work well if you have a defined area you want to address and would like enough time to understand the pattern, practise new responses and consolidate change.
20-session package
£2,800 — equivalent to £140 per session
This option provides greater continuity for longer-standing patterns or situations in which confidence, people-pleasing, relationships, anxiety and self-worth are closely connected.
The 20-session package can be paid in full or divided into two payments of £1,400.
You don’t need to decide which option is appropriate before speaking with me. During your free consultation, we can discuss what you want to change and which way of working makes the most sense.
Packages can be stopped at any time. Where a package is ended early, completed and otherwise chargeable sessions are recalculated according to the applicable pricing policy. Full details are available in the Terms and Conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is online confidence coaching?
Online confidence coaching is personalised one-to-one support designed to help you understand what is undermining your confidence and develop practical ways to change it.
It may include work on self-doubt, people-pleasing, boundaries, communication, decision-making, overthinking and fear of rejection.
Sessions take place through secure video calls, so you can attend from a private location that is convenient for you.
Can confidence coaching help with people-pleasing?
Yes. People-pleasing and low confidence are often closely connected.
When your sense of security depends on approval, saying no, expressing a different opinion or disappointing someone can feel threatening. Confidence coaching helps you recognise the beliefs driving this response and gradually practise acting from self-trust rather than fear.
Is this service only for people living in London?
No. I work online with adults in London, across the United Kingdom and internationally, where appropriate.
This page is specifically for people in London looking for accessible online confidence coaching, but you do not need to live in London to contact me.
Do you offer face-to-face coaching in London?
Not right now ( this might change in the future ). All coaching sessions are currently delivered online.
I previously worked within London’s NHS, but I do not currently offer appointments from a physical London practice.
What is the difference between confidence coaching and therapy?
Coaching is generally more focused on present-day goals, practical change, accountability and developing new skills. Therapy may involve more detailed work on emotional difficulties, mental health symptoms and the experiences underlying long-standing patterns.
My background in both therapy and coaching allows me to consider which approach may be more appropriate. We can discuss this during the initial consultation.
If you are specifically seeking therapy, visit my page about online CBT for people-pleasing.
How frequently will we meet?
Most clients initially attend weekly sessions because this provides continuity and allows us to begin applying changes consistently.
Depending on your goals, progress and circumstances, sessions may later move to a fortnightly schedule. We can agree on an arrangement that supports the work while remaining realistic for you.
How long will coaching take?
There is no single timeframe that applies to everyone.
Some clients want to address one specific difficulty, while others want to work on several connected patterns across relationships, work and self-esteem. We will regularly review what is changing and whether the coaching remains useful.
What happens between sessions?
We may agree on a practical exercise, observation task or behavioural experiment to complete between appointments.
This could involve setting a boundary, communicating more directly, noticing a particular belief or making a decision without seeking reassurance. The purpose is to apply what we discuss to your everyday life.
What happens during the free consultation?
The free 20-minute consultation is an opportunity to briefly discuss what you are experiencing, what you would like to change and whether my approach feels suitable for you.
There is no obligation to purchase a session or package after the consultation.
